Thallus off-white to pale fawn, smooth, dull. Ascomata crowded, inconspicuous, immersed, straight, curved or sinuous, rarely branched, 1–2 mm long, 0.1–0.2 mm wide. Proper exciple completely carbonised, obscurely sulcate. Hymenium 75–100 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly biseriate, transversely 6–9-locular, 20–30 × 6–8 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |

Corticolous in northern N.T.; also in Costa Rica, India, Japan, Indonesia and Vanuatu. | ||
